First of all, as some of you may have noticed. My site got transfered to a new provider and some data was lost..part 3 + 4 are gone. But I still have your comments on it. So its not a complete failure.

I think we are at a point where the song is just about at the end. Its been really great working with you guys, getting your feedback and input. This song is written about you guys by you guys and for you guys…and girls. Its quite a feat, you should be proud that you worked on it with me. The song wouldn’t be any where near as good as it is now without your comments and emails. I’m really happy with how it has turned out, and I hope that you are as well.

We just have one last thing to tie up, and that is the title of the song!

All right, lets finish this off shall we! I’m thinking about doing a special online show for you guys so you can hear the completed song and hang out, chat and listen to some of my other songs. I will let you guys know about that soon!

When I was 6 years old the church lady that taught me Sunday school told my parents that I Could sing my ABC’s in perfect pitch and on the correct scale. I didn’t know how well I could sing though until a few years later, my parents decided not to tell me what they had learned for some reason. Maybe my ego was too big as a child and they were worried that if they told me the size of my head would throw me off balance.
After leaving Australia at 8, I finished my primary school in the Netherlands where my father decided we would have a better life. Whilst at primary school, the music teacher came into my class room and told us she was having auditions to join an English version of a famous Dutch children’s choir. I really wanted to be a part of that choir. I signed up and when I was called to sing for her, my heart was in my throat. I was a nervous wreck. I sung and felt like I totally blew it. I was not happy with how it went. Other kids came back to class smiling thinking they had done great. That however was not the case for me.

Later she handed me a paper to give to my parents which read that Adam(that’s me) has been selected to be part of the children’s choir, and also stated that she thought I sung like an angel.
That was the moment that I knew that music was going to be my future. when I finished primary school I was ready to start my career! My parents however thought otherwise and wanted me to go to high school. Being the good kid that I was, I folded and did it their way.

After high school, they told me to go to uni, just so I could have a back up, in case music would fail. This time I agreed in my sneaky way. You see, I was going to study music! Genius plan.But it turns out that I would need 3 years music reading experience to get into music university! I thought that that is what they would teach me… I was not prepped for that at all. So instead I studied Digital Arts back in Australia.
Because I was in Australia, I would post the songs I had been writing on YouTube so my family back in the Netherlands could see what I was doing. I wanted to get a better camera though, a web cam just wasn’t going to cut it anymore. But how was I supposed to get a sweet camera with my empty student wallet?
Within that month, I made over 10,000 tax free dollars with 2 hours of work. Let me explain…

My sister told me that they were looking for contestants to play ‘Deal or No Deal’ on TV. I wanted a camera so I said I would sign us up. Long story short my sister, my cousin and I won some serious cashola. I didn’t even buy a new camera! I just updated all of my music equipment. Also I knew that I  was going to be a musician, So I would need that money to hold me over whilst I was creating my albums.
So since Uni, Ive moved to the Netherlands and I’ve been working on my music for the last couple of years. I have pondered about getting signed to a label and if they can offer me something great, I’ll go for it, but if not…Well I’m just going to make it on my own.

I don’t mind working to create art. It’s what is in my soul.
Sure its hard work, but it gets easier. This way I can make the music that I need to make and be in charge of my own life.

But if I find a label that can offer me what I want, I will absolutely consider it.

So here I stand before you, making music about my experiences through life; The girls I’ve crushed on, what they did when I told them I liked them, feeling the security of love, feeling tricked into love! Getting lost in all of the noise of life, rekindling friendships and even a song about my grandpa lying right to my face and how it changed the course of my life! I’m here making music and I will die making music. Because that is my passion.
I’m now 24 and its nice to finally be able to live the life that I have wanted since I was 8.
